Boys on the beach
Aletia took the boys to the beach while the little girls were sleeping. The boys were playing chicken with the waves. They were trying to see who could stay put the longest. Lorenzo had his feet and hands stuck in the sand and my boys took off the other way. Aletia said that these picture weren't about buring somebody but about what pose they were going to do. POSE #1 - Lorezo buried
POSE #2 - Justin buried. When the boys were burying Justin, they through a bucket of sand right in his face.
POSE #3 - Kyle buried
Justin was being goofy and wouldn't let me take a picture of him. This is what I ended up with.

More Nehalem pics
The trees were so awesome to climb. As you can see in this picture, Lorenzo climbed to the top, Kyle the middle and Justin at the bottom. Paige telling me NO. I told her she couldn't go down the path by herself.
Rhianna posing for the camera......
Picture of our last meal. We had four out of five kids with helmets on. I didn't post that one because I looked horrible.

Camping trip to Nehalem Bay
My sister-in-law Aletia and I took all five kids to the beach for five days camping. We pulled into camp Monday evening and set up camp. It sprinkled a little bit on Tuesday morning. By Tuesday evening, we had a lake in front of our trailer. It rained most of the day Wednesday. I was feeling caged in the trailer so we loaded up all the kids and headed to Seaside. Somewhere between Nehalem and Seaside the sky parted to sun. We enjoyed a evening on the beach and took the kids to dinner. We woke up Thursday morning to sunshine. We are very glad we stuck it out. The campground was empty because of the storm. We had the beach mostly to ourselves. Nehalem Bay State Park has some great climbing trees and lots of trails for the kids to explore.
Rhianna and Paige have an interesting relationship. Rhianna wants to mother her and Paige wants to be indepentant

I don't get very many great pictures of Kyle. I love this one. It is the true (not goofy) Kyle.

Visit to beach before party!!!!
It is so great to see such a wonderful relationship between father and daughter. I hope this continues through to adulthood. Daddy actually took the camera from me for most of the day. We are standing in a small cave in the side of the rocks.
This picture was daddy's idea. What a wonderful picture it turned out to be.
Kyle took a picture of the two of us.....
Justin trying to stop the waves.....
