Day 2

Today I didn't get out of bed until 9 am (thats what happens with no kids). We had breakfast at a donut dive place. The best place to get a cheap breakfast. We went to Ground Zero and Wall Street. We stood under the Brooklyn Bridge while we waited until the rain let up. We walked over the Brooklyn Bridge and could see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

We took the train into Greenwich, CT to meet up with Tom's friend Marc. Marc and Tom lived together while working for Walt Disney World in Florida. They get to see each other every 6 years or so. Greenwich has a lot of old money. We were going to see some of the expensive homes but Marc took the wrong exit off the highway.

We took the train back into New York. We had dinner at a wonderful Italian restaurant in Little Italy. We walked by the loft that Health Ledger died in. I am not sure I needed to know this fact. We just got back to the apartment (closet) around 11:30. I am going to have to go home to sleep.
