Day 3

I think we just walked another 10 miles today. Paul took us all over New York. We got to see his office, went to a street fair and rode several very smelly subways. You don't experience New York until you experience the hot, muggy, smelly subway. It is amazing to me how you can go anywhere under ground.

Paul and Tom had a bet a while back on who could loose the most weight. Paul gave up and Tom won. To pay the bet and because he is a great guy - he took us to a nice steak restaurant. I have never had such a great steak as tonight. Since we stuffed ourselves at the restaurant, we decided to walk some of it off. We then took the subway to Time Square to see it at night. It was very busy and very bright. He showed us where the New Years Eve ball drops. Since we walked some of the food off, we went into a bar for New York Cheesecake. If anybody knows me, it is my favorite.

We got back on the subway and Paul took me to my first gay bar. I was the only female in the room. I have tried several firsts - from drinks, to food, to bars, to the subway.
