Paul decided to take us to the famous Coney Island. We took the subway for about 45 minutes. When we got off, all you can see where the large old rides. Some of the rides were over 88 years old. That is kind of scary to think about.
First, we went to a Cyclones baseball game. If you know anything about baseball, we went to a single A team. These guys are at the bottom of the barrel. We had a great time in the heat. The team got creamed.
The boys decided to head for the oldest wood roller coast still standing. Now does that sound safe????? They talked me into going on the ferris wheel that stand 150 feet in the air. I covered my eyes most of the way. They tried to get me to ride the ferris wheel - NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After we were done, we decided to do something quite in the neighborhood. Tom talked Paul and I into a three mile walk. It started out as a short walk. Remember this is NEW YORK.
