The New York Experience

As most of you know, Tom and I flew into New York today. It took us an hour just to get off airport property by train. We went from the train to the SUBWAY (the whole trip was two hours). Tom and I had a great time people watching.

We get to Paul's apartment (400 square ft) and unloaded our bags. Paul's apartment has one bedroom (lookings like a walk in closet) with a loft bed. His kitchen has a stove and sink and is the size of a coat closet. He took us out for burgers and drinks. He is a regular at this place so we ended up having a free round from the bartender.

We came back to the apartment so I could nap after having two drinks. One more than usual. After I woke up, we took the bus out to the New York harbor to watch the fireworks. Just the thought of watching the fireworks with the Statue of Liberty in the back ground. We got to see New Jersey and NY fireworks. SCORE!!!!!!!!!! It rained most of the time we were out. I feel like a drowned rat.

Check in later for more.
